RUFFIN Support

Every project. A clearer picture.

Help with your RUFFIN workspace, account access, project records, or the current preview.

Contact Sabban&Co: Studio@sabbanand.co

RUFFIN is currently an on-device preview. Project data, account permissions, documents, and chat activity are saved on the iPhone where you use the app. Cloud synchronization, live subscriptions, and push delivery between devices are not connected yet. Sample projects and documents are illustrative.

Get help faster

Tell us your app version and build, iPhone model, iOS version, whether you are using Client or Contractor access, and the steps that led to the issue. Include a cropped, redacted screenshot if it helps.

Never send an access key, saved sign-in credential, full contract, payment details, identity document, private site address, or unredacted client information in an initial support email. We will explain any additional information needed through an appropriate channel. Support is not an emergency service.

Account and access

I lost my client or team access key

Contact the administrator of your contractor's company. The administrator can update authorized client information and reset a client or team member's access key. A replaced key stops working in that workspace. Sabban&Co cannot retrieve a key from the local preview on your iPhone.

Face ID or remembered sign-in is unavailable

Use your access key to continue. Check that Face ID or Touch ID is configured on your device. In RUFFIN Settings, Quick access controls your saved sign-in and biometric unlock. “Forget saved sign-in” removes that remembered sign-in; it does not delete your project files. “Sign out” ends the current session and keeps the workspace on the device.

Why can't another iPhone see my changes?

The current preview has no shared server or cloud synchronization. Creating a client or team account on one iPhone does not send its workspace to another. Local chat notifications also do not deliver messages from another device. Keep original project records outside the preview.

Projects and delivery dates

Where do I set the delivery date?

Open Projects, select the construction site, and use “Set contract delivery date” in the contractor's project overview. An authorized administrator or team member with project-editing permission can record or update the date agreed in the actual contract. The app does not extract that date automatically from an uploaded contract.

The project displays recorded work dates and the contract delivery date alongside progress. In-progress work appears orange, an overdue project displays a red date and the number of late calendar days, and a completed project appears green. These indicators reflect the information entered in the workspace; they do not determine legal delay, damages, acceptance, or contractual liability.

Why is a start or finish date missing?

Start and finish dates come from recorded milestone dates. An old project with no recorded dates can display “Not recorded.” Completing all milestones does not supply a historical finish date if one was never saved. The contractor can correct milestone timing using the project's editing controls.

Who controls what I can see?

The company administrator assigns project access, team permissions, and chat participants. Clients see the content made available to their account. Ask your contractor if a document, choice, request, or conversation is missing. Changes to permissions do not recall copies that someone previously saved outside the app.

Files, chat, and device permissions

Photos and documents are imported into the local workspace. Chat text and attachments use on-device encryption with an encryption key stored in that iPhone's Keychain. This is local protection, not an end-to-end messaging service between phones.

Camera and microphone access are optional and requested for the corresponding capture features. The photo and document pickers let you choose files to import. Face ID is handled by Apple; RUFFIN does not receive your facial scan. Notifications and app icon badges can be changed in RUFFIN and iPhone Settings.

Address search and maps use Apple Maps. The app can send a project's address search to Apple without requesting your live GPS position. Opening directions in Apple Maps uses Apple's service and its own settings.

If protected local files are unavailable, unlock the iPhone and reopen the app. Avoid resetting the demo or reinstalling the app while diagnosing an important project. A replacement phone may not be able to decrypt chat protected by a device-only key. The preview is not a backup service or an authoritative document archive.

Plans and beta access

The plan selector currently changes local preview limits only. It does not charge you or start a subscription. Displayed business tiers are proposed monthly USD plans, with unlimited completed-project archives within the workspace and subject to device storage. Any future paid service will explain its price, billing, renewal, cancellation, and applicable purchase terms before you subscribe.

If you use TestFlight, install the latest available build and use “Send Beta Feedback” for reproducible bugs. Redact private project information from screenshots. Apple also collects beta usage and crash information as described in TestFlight & Privacy.

Privacy, deletion, and security reports

For a privacy request, email Studio@sabbanand.co with the subject “RUFFIN Privacy Request.” State whether your request concerns information you sent to Sabban&Co, TestFlight feedback, or data held by your contractor. Do not attach identity documents or access keys unless a secure verification process is arranged.

The current preview does not include a complete workspace-erasure command. “Reset demo data” restores sample records and preserves existing media files; it is not an account-deletion tool. Removing the app from the device removes its app container, but separately saved Keychain items, copies shared outside the app, and device backups can require separate steps. Contact us for deletion guidance before discarding records you need to retain.

Report suspected unauthorized access, harmful content, or a vulnerability to Studio@sabbanand.co with the subject “RUFFIN Security Report.” For access within a project, also notify the company administrator so they can revoke an account, change permissions, or remove inappropriate messages. Do not test on other people's data or publicly disclose private records.

For immediate danger, contact local emergency services and the responsible site supervisor. RUFFIN is not a safety monitor, inspection service, or emergency response channel.
