Privacy. Responsibilities. Clear expectations.

Privacy Notice & Terms of Use
Effective date: September 30, 2026.
Contact: Studio@sabbanand.co

RUFFIN is created and provided under the Sabban&Co brand. The applicable application provider is identified in the distribution listing. This page covers RUFFIN's current on-device preview, its dedicated support and product pages, and information you send to Sabban&Co about RUFFIN. The privacy notice explains data practices; it is not a request for blanket consent. If a feature later requires consent, that choice will be presented separately.

Privacy Notice

1. Your project workspace

In the current preview, RUFFIN processes project information on the iPhone where you use it. The workspace can contain names, email addresses, phone numbers, company profiles and legal details, access permissions, property addresses and map coordinates, milestones and work dates, contract delivery dates, choices and approvals, documents, photos, messages, audio attachments, and related activity records. Appearance preferences, notification choices, and read or completion receipts support the interface.

This information is used to display and manage the workspace, apply the permissions selected by the company administrator, show progress, and make the local features work. It is not automatically uploaded to a Sabban&Co project server in this preview. There is no connected multi-device synchronization, live subscription billing, advertising SDK, or cross-app advertising tracking in the current app.

2. Access and local security

Access credentials and remembered sign-in use Apple's Keychain and the app's credential checks. Optional Face ID or Touch ID is evaluated by Apple's authentication system. RUFFIN receives the authentication result, not your biometric template.

Project files use iOS file protection. Chat content and attachments have an additional layer of local AES-GCM encryption, with a key held in that iPhone's Keychain. The chat key is device-only. These measures do not make the preview an end-to-end communication service or guarantee that all information will remain accessible after a device change, deletion, corruption, or loss. No system eliminates every security risk.

3. Optional permissions and Apple services

You choose whether to allow the camera, microphone, biometric unlock, notifications, and app icon badges. Photos and documents are selected through the system's import controls. Revoking a permission in iPhone Settings stops the corresponding access; it does not erase content already imported.

Apple Maps is used for site address searches and map display. A project address search, selected coordinates, and map interactions can be processed by Apple. RUFFIN does not request your live device location in this preview. Opening Apple Maps introduces Apple's settings and Apple Maps & Privacy.

Apple may handle device backups, App Store diagnostics, and distribution information according to your settings and Apple's notices. These services are separate from a Sabban&Co cloud-sync or backup service.

4. Support and TestFlight

If you email Sabban&Co, we receive your contact information, message, and any files you choose to include. We use them to answer your request, troubleshoot, protect the product, and comply with applicable obligations. We do not need an access key or an entire confidential contract to receive an initial support request.

If you test through TestFlight, Apple automatically collects beta usage and crash information and shares information with the application provider. Feedback you submit can include comments, screenshots, and device or build details; identifying information can be included depending on the invitation and feedback. We use beta information to investigate problems and improve RUFFIN. We do not share TestFlight-provided information with third parties. Apple's processing and retention are described in TestFlight & Privacy.

5. Who can receive information

Within the local workspace, account visibility depends on the company administrator's permissions, document visibility settings, and chat participant choices. The preview does not itself transmit these project records to other iPhones. Exporting a file, forwarding it outside RUFFIN, sending support email, opening an external link, or using an Apple service can disclose the information involved in that action.

For information Sabban&Co actually receives, email and hosting providers can process it to deliver communications, serve pages, and maintain security under the relevant provider arrangements. We may disclose information when required by law, to address a substantiated security threat, or to establish or defend legal claims. We do not sell RUFFIN personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Website privacy

The RUFFIN product, support, and policy pages are separate from the app's local workspace. A visit sends the hosting service ordinary request information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser details, and request time for page delivery and security. These pages do not receive your RUFFIN project database.

Sabban&Co does not use RUFFIN's web pages for advertising profiles or the sale of personal information. The website can store appearance and privacy choices in your browser. Optional audience measurement, if enabled, follows the choices explained in the Sabban&Co website privacy notice; hosting infrastructure can also process operational or security information. A browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal does not change our no-sale and no-advertising-sharing practice. Clearing the site's browser storage resets saved preferences.

If you use the Sabban&Co site's contact form, FormSubmit delivers the submitted contact details and message to our studio email. Its handling and the website's other services are described in the website privacy notice. The RUFFIN support email link instead opens your own email service. External websites and email providers have their own policies.

When the optional audience-measurement integration is configured, Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals disable Google Analytics and the site's manually installed Cloudflare beacon. Ordinary hosting and security processing may still occur.

7. Retention and deletion

Local workspace information remains on the device while the app retains it. Signing out ends the session without erasing project files. “Forget saved sign-in” removes the remembered sign-in credential and associated saved identity. Where you have permission, removing a chat message removes its message content and associated local chat attachment while retaining a deletion marker. This does not recall separate copies held outside RUFFIN.

“Reset demo data” restores example records and deliberately preserves existing media. It is not complete workspace erasure. The current preview has no single account-and-workspace deletion command. Removing the app removes its app container; Keychain items, device backups, and independently shared copies may remain separately. Ask us for guidance if you need to remove local data or saved access safely. Your company may also have independent legal recordkeeping obligations.

Sabban&Co retains support correspondence only as needed to resolve the issue, maintain relevant product or security records, and meet legal obligations. Beta information we access is retained only for the relevant testing and problem-resolution purposes, subject to Apple's platform retention. We do not maintain a remote copy of your local project workspace that we can retrieve or erase on your behalf.

8. Your choices and privacy rights

Email Studio@sabbanand.co with “RUFFIN Privacy Request” to request access, correction, deletion, or other assistance concerning information held by Sabban&Co. We may need proportionate verification to protect your information. An authorized agent may contact us where local law permits. We respond within applicable legal time limits and explain any lawful limitation. We do not penalize you for exercising rights that apply to you.

Depending on your location and which laws apply, you may have rights to know or access information, correct it, obtain a copy, request deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, and raise a concern with a privacy authority. California residents may have additional rights where the California Consumer Privacy Act applies. This notice does not waive those rights or represent that every statutory regime applies to every operation.

For information held by a contractor in its own records, contact that contractor as well. For data controlled by Apple, use Apple's privacy controls or contact Apple. Withdrawing an optional permission affects that feature but does not undo earlier lawful processing.

9. Age, international access, and changes

RUFFIN is intended for adults managing construction or renovation projects and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has sent personal information to Sabban&Co through RUFFIN support, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Support communications and website requests may be processed in the United States or where the relevant service providers operate. Applicable legal protections remain in place; this statement does not waive rights or treat use of a website as consent to an otherwise restricted transfer.

We will update the effective date when this notice changes. Material changes to the current data practices will be described on this page and, when required, communicated through the app or another appropriate notice before they apply. New cloud, payment, or analytics features require corresponding disclosures and choices.

Terms of Use

10. Scope and license

These terms govern authorized use of the RUFFIN preview and its related Sabban&Co pages. Use the app only if you have authority to access the workspace and, when acting for a business, authority to act for that business. RUFFIN's beta is intended for adult users.

Sabban&Co and its licensors retain their rights in the app, code, interface, marks, and original product materials. You receive permission to use the preview for its intended purpose, subject to applicable distribution rules. Do not redistribute the app, resell access without permission, misuse its marks, or copy or reverse engineer it except where the law or an applicable component license permits.

For App Store distribution, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies unless the application provider supplies a valid custom license through that distribution channel. These terms supplement that distribution license without replacing it; the applicable distribution agreement controls a conflict about the app license. Apple is not a party to your construction contract, and Sabban&Co, rather than Apple, is responsible for the support it offers for RUFFIN.

11. Project responsibilities

RUFFIN organizes information. Sabban&Co does not act as your general contractor, architect, engineer, inspector, attorney, insurer, escrow provider, or project certifier. The app does not verify permits, licensing, insurance, safety, workmanship, building-code compliance, or the authenticity of uploaded documents.

Contractors, clients, and team members remain responsible for their actual agreements, professional duties, legally required notices, permissions, inspections, site safety, and decisions. A milestone marked complete, a recorded choice, a document approval, a delivery date, or an overdue-day counter is an app record. It does not by itself amend a contract, prove legal acceptance, calculate damages, waive a claim, or establish liability. Verify significant dates and approvals against the underlying signed documents and qualified professional advice.

Do not use the preview as the sole record for critical deadlines, emergency communications, required notices, or documents you must preserve. Retain appropriate originals and independent records.

12. Accounts, permissions, and content

Protect your device and access keys. Do not share another person's credential, bypass account permissions, misrepresent your identity, or access a project without authority. The company administrator is responsible for granting appropriate access, keeping contact details accurate, and promptly revoking access that is no longer appropriate. Notify the administrator and Sabban&Co if you suspect compromise.

You retain your rights in the records and materials you add. You must have the necessary rights and lawful authority to use them, including permission to record or share another person's image, voice, personal information, or confidential documents. Sabban&Co does not take ownership of your project content. For material you intentionally send to us for support, you permit the limited use necessary to address the request and meet applicable obligations.

Do not use RUFFIN for unlawful conduct, harassment, threats, discrimination, infringing content, malware, security interference, or deceptive records. Report concerns through RUFFIN Support. The administrator can use available account and chat controls; the preview is not a remote content-moderation service.

13. Preview availability and plans

The current release is a local preview, not a production cloud service. Synchronization, live billing, and remote push messaging are not connected. Features can change, contain errors, or become unavailable. TestFlight builds can expire or be withdrawn under Apple's beta distribution rules. No specific release date, uptime, recovery service, or future feature is promised.

Selecting a plan in this preview does not start a paid subscription or authorize a charge. Prices and allowances shown in the preview describe proposed plans. Any future purchase requires separately disclosed pricing and applicable purchase terms, including renewal, cancellation, refunds, and taxes. Unlimited archives describe the plan's project-count allowance, not unlimited physical device storage or a promise of permanent hosted retention.

14. Feedback and third parties

You may provide feedback voluntarily. You permit Sabban&Co to use your product suggestions to improve RUFFIN without an obligation to pay for unsolicited ideas. This does not transfer ownership of your project content or authorize disclosure of your private information.

Apple services, hosting, external links, and your email provider are governed by their relevant terms. Their availability and practices are outside Sabban&Co's direct control. Refer to the applicable provider for those services.

15. Warranties and limits

To the extent permitted by law, the preview is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted operation, error-free results, data recovery, or suitability for a particular project. You remain responsible for evaluating the information you enter and for using appropriate professional services and independent records. Statutory warranties and rights that cannot lawfully be excluded continue to apply.

To the extent the law permits, Sabban&Co is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the preview, including lost profits, interruption, or losses caused by reliance on inaccurate project records. For a business user's claims arising from the preview, and only where legally enforceable, the total liability is limited to the greater of US $100 or fees actually paid to Sabban&Co for RUFFIN during the preceding twelve months.

No exclusion or limitation applies to fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, a violation of law for which liability cannot be limited, non-waivable privacy or consumer rights, or other liability the law does not permit us to exclude. Nothing here disclaims responsibility for reasonable data-security measures required by law. The limits apply only to the extent valid in your jurisdiction.

16. Ending access, disputes, and updates

You can stop using the preview at any time. The company administrator can revoke workspace access under its applicable relationship with you. Sabban&Co may withdraw beta distribution or restrict access it actually controls to address abuse, security, legal requirements, or the end of a beta program, subject to applicable rights. Withdrawal of distribution does not give us remote control over project files stored on your device.

Contact Studio@sabbanand.co about a dispute so we can try to resolve it. Nothing in this page imposes mandatory arbitration, a class-action waiver, or a waiver of access to a court or regulator where that right applies. Governing law and jurisdiction are determined by applicable law and any valid distribution agreement.

We will publish updates with a new effective date and give additional notice or obtain assent where required. Material new obligations do not apply retroactively merely because the page was edited. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law. No delay in exercising a right automatically waives it.
